How would one get to your home from Panama City? Is there a direct flight from Panama? Which Airline do you recommend? From Panama City you will take a taxi from the Tucomen International Airport to the Albrook Airport where you will get a domestic flight to Bocas del Toro on either Aeroperlas or Air Panama. This flight will bring you right here to the island, and the airport is only 5 - 10 minutes from the house. We will pick you up there and bring you out so you can get aquainted with the area.
Would food be included or are we on our own? Food is not included, but there are cooking utensils in the kitchenette in the room and there is a BBQ grill on the lanai outside the suite that you can use to do cooking . We have a New York chef that will prepare meals for you and serve you poolside if you wish. An evening meal consisting of fish, a potato or something similar, salad and vegetable is $12 a plate. You can make arrangements with him for the type of food you would like and schedule.
Is there a grocery store nearby if food is not included? The stores in Bocas town are only a 5 minute taxi ride away, where you will be able to find almost any food you want. There is one small local store that is a 5 minute walk that you can get basics.
Are there restaurants nearby and what would the average meal cost? The closet restaurant is next to the end of our property, there are 2 others within a 5 minute walk, they cater to tourists so will be priced between $8 - $15 a plate. There are local restaurants in town that are $3.50 a plate for Panamanian style food.
